Job Summary
Briarcliff Clean is seeking dependable and detail-oriented House Cleaning Professionals to serve residential clients in Gladstone and surrounding Kansas City Northland communities.
This is a flexible, part-time, 1099 independent contractor opportunity. You provide the weekdays and daytime hours you are consistently available each week, and cleaning opportunities are offered within that availability.
We are looking for people who take pride in producing excellent results, communicate professionally, and understand how to clean efficiently without sacrificing quality. You may complete appointments independently or alongside other cleaning professionals, depending on the size and needs of the home.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional cleaning services in residential homes.
- Follow the Briarcliff Clean service checklist and the specific scope assigned for each appointment.
- Dust furniture, surfaces, fixtures, baseboards, and other designated areas.
- Vacuum carpets and rugs and sweep or mop hard-surface floors.
- Clean and sanitize kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and hallways.
- Make beds and provide light straightening when included in the scheduled service.
- Properly use cleaning products, tools, supplies, and equipment.
- Treat clients’ homes, belongings, and privacy with care and respect.
- Communicate professionally with clients, other cleaning professionals, and the Briarcliff Clean office.
- Promptly report access problems, damages, safety concerns, or unusual circumstances.
- Arrive on time and complete assigned work thoroughly and efficiently.
- Travel between client homes throughout Gladstone and the Kansas City Northland.
Qualifications
- Previous residential cleaning experience is helpful but not required.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent weekly availability.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in completed work.
- Professional, respectful, and positive attitude.
- Able to follow cleaning checklists, instructions, and client-specific notes.
- Comfortable working independently and with a cleaning partner or team.
- Able to stand, bend, reach, kneel, and perform repetitive cleaning movements.
- Able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must have reliable personal transportation and current automobile insurance.
- Must have a smartphone for scheduling and work-related communication.
Flexible Daytime Schedule
Work the hours you are available to work consistently each week.
You provide your regular weekday availability, and cleaning opportunities are offered within those days and hours. Residential appointments are generally scheduled Monday through Friday during daytime hours.
Applicants should have at least one or two weekdays of consistent availability each week.
Independent Contractor Opportunity
This is a part-time, 1099 independent contractor opportunity. Independent contractors are responsible for their own taxes and are not classified as employees of Briarcliff Clean.
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
