Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and organized Part-Time Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and possesses strong communication and customer service skills
Duties
- Answer incoming customer calls and respond professionally to service requests.
- Schedule and dispatch plumbing technicians based on urgency, location, and technician availability.
- Communicate with technicians regarding job assignments, schedule changes, and customer information.
- Enter and maintain accurate customer and job information in dispatch software.
- Assist with general office duties.
Skills
- Previous dispatching, customer service, and office experience preferred.
- Experience in the plumbing or home service industry is a plus
- Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office is required. Familiarity with dispatching/scheduling software required.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
Schedule
- Monday - Friday, Noon - 5pm
Compensation
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience
