Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter to oversee and coordinate a wide range of construction projects, specializing in metal and wood framing.
Responsibilities
- Read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
- Manage the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and scaffolding to maintain productivity and safety standards.
- Collaborate with project manager/superintendent through work phases effectively while monitoring progress and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial and residential carpentry.
- Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical documentation related to construction projects.
- Strong leadership skills
- Lead Carpenter will possess the expertise with the use of hand tools and power tools necessary for detailed craftsmanship across multiple disciplines.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
