- Greet patients warmly, verify insurance coverage, and manage patient intake processes efficiently
- Schedule appointments using dental practice management software
- Assist endodontist during procedures by preparing instruments and ensuring patient comfort
- Handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism, providing excellent customer service and answering inquiries promptly
- Verify insurance benefits, process claims
- Manage clerical tasks including filing, data entry, and maintaining organized dental records
- Support medical administrative functions such as appointment reminders, follow-up calls, and documentation review to ensure accuracy and completeness
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or Medical Receptionist within a dental or healthcare setting
- Hard working, reliable and organized
- Excellent computer skills
- Exceptional phone etiquette with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems confidently
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively
- Prior clinic or dental office experience an asset but not required
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards while managing sensitive health information
- Strong attention to detail for documentation review and accurate data entry in medical records
