We are currently seeking an Associate to join our growing team.
This position requires an individual with the following:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience
- 1 years of PR experience (exclusive of internships); agency experience a big plus
- Fast learner with an inquisitive mind and eye for details, strong writing and communication skills
- Creativity, self-motivation and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-moving, dynamic, collaborative and team-oriented environment
- Problem-solving capabilities and inclination to seek answers to address challenges
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Conducting reliable and accurate media and influencer research (editorial calendars, speaking opportunities, media/analyst list development) and providing teams with industry-relevant news and research
- Securing client media opportunities in trade, consumer, business media and other outlets
- Producing strong written documents, including pitches, speaking opportunity abstracts, client communications and general business writing
- Monitoring clients’ social media presence and draft social media posts on behalf of clients (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
- Collaborating with vendors and managing work product
- Producing client status reports and briefing materials for meetings
- Actively participating in client/internal meetings, offering creative ideas/solutions
