Position: Salesforce L3 Support Engineer | Salesforce Production Support
Location: Sacramento, CA (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite)
Salesforce professionals with a strong background in production support, incident management, and Salesforce troubleshooting. This is not a traditional Salesforce development role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for investigating production issues, performing root cause analysis, reviewing existing Salesforce code and configurations, and coordinating with development teams for defect resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex Salesforce production issues
• Manage Tier 3 support incidents and escalations
• Review Apex, LWC, Flows, Triggers, Batch Apex, and Integrations to identify root causes
• Perform defect triage and create detailed bug reports for development teams
• Support production stabilization and hypercare activities
• Coordinate with Tier 2 support teams, business users, and stakeholders
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and recommend process improvements
• Troubleshoot Salesforce security, permissions, sharing rules, profiles, and configuration-related issues
• Support incident communications, release notes, production readiness, and outage notifications
Required Skills:
• 8 years of Salesforce experience
• Strong Production Support / Application Support background
• Expertise in Apex, LWC, SOQL, Triggers, and Batch Apex
• Experience with Salesforce Flows and Platform Events
• Strong API and Integration Troubleshooting skills
• Experience handling Sev1 and Sev2 incidents
• Strong Incident Management and RCA experience
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Skills:
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale Salesforce environments
• Experience working in Hypercare and Production Stabilization phases
• ServiceNow and ITIL knowledge
• Experience working with third-party vendors and support teams
