Job Summary
We are seeking anexperienced and reliable Cook to join our team. This role is for a skilled cook who can work independently, manage the kitchen during service, and maintain consistency and quality. If you have experience preparing sandwiches, burgers, and pizzas in a fast-paced kitchen and hold a valid Food Handler Certification, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Independently prepare sandwiches, burgers, and pizzas following established recipes and standards.
- Manage the kitchen station confidently during service with minimal supervision.
- Handle food prep, cooking, and plating with speed, accuracy, and consistency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, prep areas, and equipment.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
- Complete closing duties, including cleaning, restocking, and prep for the next shift.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of cook or kitchen experience required (no entry-level applicants).
- Proven ability to work independently and handle service alone when needed.
- Experience with sandwiches, burgers, and pizza preparation required.
- Valid Food Handler Certification required (must be current).
- Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen best practices.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to perform under pressure.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
Schedule Requirements
- Evening and weekend availability required.
- Schedule based on business needs.
