Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure an outstanding customer experience
• Manage bar operations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing orders and cash transactions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations
• Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting
• Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and place orders as needed to ensure smooth service flow
• Handle cash handling duties accurately while balancing registers at shift end

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, spirits, wine, and craft beer trends
• Proven experience with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; ability to process cash transactions efficiently
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy hours without compromising quality
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Prior food service or restaurant experience, especially in fine dining or banquet settings
• Ability to develop beverage recipes creatively while adhering to safety standards
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling practices
• Experience with beverage sales strategies and upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue
• Familiarity with hospitality industry standards including catering, banquet service, and bar management principles
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations such as measuring ingredients and processing payments
