Summary
The Facilities Watchman will provide monitoring of Brewer Science facilities and operational systems to include, but not limited to: fire monitoring/suppression, access controls, manufacturing processes, closed circuit video, Building Automation System (BAS), and other operational systems.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring of facility systems
- Observe and report non-compliances within operational systems
- Direct and/or execute assigned immediate actions of the Emergency Response Plan (ERP)
- Perform monitoring patrols to enforce facility regulations and make routine safety checks of buildings and equipment
- Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create safety concerns or safety hazards
- Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
- Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking or carrying forbidden articles
- Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities
- Provide assistance to customers, employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- High School Diploma or
- Formal training in security systems, Law Enforcement, Military, or Emergency Response preferred but not required
- Equivalent combination of education and related experience
