Rare opportunity for a Front Desk Agent part-time, at the Brewer Motor Inn in Brewer Maine. We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Agent to join our team.
You would be responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, checking guests in and out, answering questions and ensuring an excellent guest experience throughout their stay.
Responsiblities:
*Greet guests in a courteous and professional manner
*Checking people in out of the efficiently
*Answering phone calls, emails and guest inquiries
*Handling a difficult customer
*Process reservations, cancellations and room changes
*Handle payments, billing and cash transactions accurtarately
*Provide information about hotel services, amenities and local concerts/attractions
*Resolve guest concerns and complaints promptly
*Maintain accurate guest records and reports
*Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff as needed
*Ensure the front desk area and lobby remains clean and organized
Requirements:
*Minimum 2 years of previous customer service or hospitality experience is a plus
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Basic computer and data entry skills
*Ability to multitask in a sometimes fast-paced environment
*Professional appearance and positive attitude
Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays and sometimes overnight shifts
Preferred Skills:
*Experience with hotel reservation software
*Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
*Strong attention to detail
*Team-oriented mindset

Your guaranteed workdays will be 3 pm to 11 pm, not weekly, but twice monthly. You will be scheduled two Saturdays a month, first and third, with the possibility of extra days.
You must be available to work weekend evenings & holidays if scheduled.
Our work environment is friendly, fast and flexible. We offer one meal per shift from our restaurant on premises.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
