Trade Expense Analyst
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid: 4 days in-office per week)
Compensation: Base $115,000-125,000 Bonus

We’re working with a high-performance trading firm seeking a detail-oriented Trade Expense Analyst to join their finance and operations function. Responsibilities
- Validate and analyse global trading expenses—including exchange, clearing, and regulatory fees—across internal systems and external brokers or venues.
- Investigate cost variances and support resolution of complex exceptions in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Monitor fee schedules and statement data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely issue resolution.
- Maintain and enhance internal documentation around trade expense controls and monthly reporting packages.
- Partner with key business units to align processes, support audits, and improve transparency around trade cost drivers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related
- 4 years of relevant experience in financial operations, brokerage billing, trade expense analysis, or fund accounting.
- Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with SQL and/or Python is a plus.
- A detail-oriented mindset and strong organizational skills.
Salary : $110,000 - $125,000
