What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant Financial Reporting position at Brewer Morris?
Our client, a well-known global hospitality leader is seeking a solid accounting professional to prepare and review financial reporting and financial analysis for the business' operations.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Prepare and consolidate financial statements and related footnotes across multiple jurisdictions under US GAAP, IFRS, and GASB standards.
- Manage quarterly roll-forwards, top-side adjustments, and reconciliations for equity, investments, intercompany transactions, debt schedules, and derivative instruments.
- Develop, automate, and analyze financial reporting for monthly, quarterly, and annual requirements, including fluctuation analysis to validate balances and treatments.
- Lead and support financial system implementations, conversions, and process improvements.
- Coordinate external audits and provide required documentation across jurisdictions.
- Collaborate with accounting teams to implement new reconciliations and ensure accurate intercompany and subsidiary reporting.
- Perform additional duties as assigned while fostering positive relationships with internal teams.
What They're Looking For:
- MUST have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience
- Multi-entity organization and consolidations experience is a MUST
- US GAAP experience and preferred knowledge of IFRS and/or GASB reporting.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial reporting tools.
