I’m partnered with a Global Manufacturer, on a new Accounts Receivable Specialist hire.
Role Summary
This role is responsible for managing accounts receivable processes, including collections, account reconciliation, and reporting. You’ll work closely with internal teams and customers to ensure timely payments while supporting overall financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage collections efforts including past-due follow-ups, customer communication, and coordination with sales
- Monitor accounts receivable balances and prepare aging reports with insights on delinquent accounts
- Process daily cash receipts, apply payments, and prepare bank deposits
- Handle customer refunds and resolve account discrepancies
- Support year-end audit activities related to accounts receivable
- Provide backup support to accounts payable as needed
Qualifications
- 3 years of AR or accounting experience, ideally with B2B collections
- Strong communication skills with ability to manage customer conversations professionally
- Experience with ERP/CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment
- Team-oriented with ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Minimum, High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree is a plus!
