Job Summary: The Returns/Retail Claims Specialist is responsible for verifying, researching, and processing all claims/returns from customers. Work with sales team, suppliers and intercompany departments to ensure that claims are processed correctly and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Process installation claims for damaged or defective product.
- Process returns to suppliers.
- Provide support to sales and management for claims.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Sound judgment, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Build, maintain, and foster strong relationships.
- Intermediate skill level Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Intermediate computer skills familiar with ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of distribution, inventory and purchasing functions.
- Organized and capable of handling high volume of interactions with all departments.
- Ability to multi-task various processes and projects.
- Must have effective time management skills to manage multiple priorities.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma
- Associates degree preferred
- No experience required- will train
Work Environment:
- Required job duties are normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
