Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced, passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in a vibrant café environment with evening and weekend availability.

As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your role will be integral in creating memorable experiences for our customers while showcasing your skills in coffee preparation and food service. Starting pay would depend on experience, plus tips.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items with precision and attention to detail.
• Operate the POS system efficiently to process customer orders and handle transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including workstations, equipment, and dining spaces.
• Assist in food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and proper handling techniques.
• Engage with customers to provide recommendations, answer questions, and ensure satisfaction with their orders.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and support each other during shifts.

Experience

• Must have previous experience in coffee service or café settings.
• Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Experience using SQUARE POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
• Strong math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Excellent time management skills to balance multiple tasks efficiently.
• A genuine passion for coffee culture and customer service is essential.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
