What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barback position at Brew Garden?
Barback
We’re looking for a hardworking, reliable Barback to support our bartending team and help keep the bar running smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate is energetic, team-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Barback's also receive a percentage from sales as part of their wage.
Responsibilities:
- Keep the bar fully stocked with liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and supplies
- Assist bartenders with setup, service, and breakdown
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar throughout service
- Wash and polish glassware and restock as needed
- Prepare garnishes, juices, and other bar ingredients
- Retrieve and organize inventory from storage and walk-in areas
- Change kegs and assist with beverage deliveries and inventory
- Clear empty bottles, trash, and dishes from the bar area
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards
- Communicate with bartenders, servers, and management to anticipate and meet service needs
- Assist with opening and closing duties

- Previous restaurant or bar experience is preferred but not required
- Must be at least 19 years old

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
