Overview
We are seeking an experienced and service-driven Banquet Event Manager to oversee and execute flawless events for our clientele. This role requires an eye for detail, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering elevated hospitality experiences. The position is responsible for the successful execution of events such as weddings, corporate meetings, and private parties. This role involves coordinating buffet and bar setup and breakdown, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout each function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute Brew Catering Events including buffets, bars and some event coordinating.
- Lead and supervise the banquet team during setup, execution, and breakdown of events.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff, servers, and other departments to ensure smooth event flow.
- Review event orders (BEOs) and delegate/execute tasks accordingly.
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including buffets, tables, chairs, and linens.
- Set up and clean up of bar area at one of our exclusive venues.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Act as the main point of contact for the client and/or event organizer during the event.
- Monitor timing and service throughout the event, making real-time adjustments as needed.
- Handle guest requests and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensure post-event breakdown and cleanup is efficient and complete.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in banquets, catering, or event service—leadership experience preferred.
- Valid Drivers License and reliable vehicle .
- Cocktail Bartending knowledge.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. (Typically off work by 10:00pm in the evenings)
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and banquet service etiquette.
