Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items with precision and care.
- Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order processing and cash handling.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment and workstations.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, answer questions, and make recommendations.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment focused on teamwork and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or experience in the food service industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques and equipment is an advantage.
- Proficient in basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
