Brevard Public Schools is seeking a Coordinator of Sales Development for our Government and Community Relations Department. The Coordinator of Sales Development will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to promote advertising opportunities within the school district. This role involves building relationships with local businesses, stakeholders, and the community to generate revenue while enhancing educational programs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales strategy development:
- Create and implement a comprehensive sales plan to increase revenue for the district and school locations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for sales transactions and activities.
- Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for revenue growth in advertising products.
- Develop promotional materials and presentations to showcase advertising options.
- Work closely with district leadership and educators to align advertising initiatives with educational goals.
- Collaborate with leadership on marketing strategies to enhance program visibility.
- Drive business to the Brevard Public Schools print shop.
Performance Tracking
- Monitor sales performance and prepare reports on program success and areas for improvement.
- Utilize data analysis to refine sales strategies and enhance client satisfaction.
- Ensure that advertising efforts are cost-effective and aligned with financial goals.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses and community organizations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing support.
- Attend community events and meetings to promote the program and engage potential advertisers.
- Maintain positive relationships with district and school leadership
- Attend all Partners In Education meetings
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years' proven experience in sales, preferably in educational or advertising sectors
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
PREFERRED/DESIRED:
- Knowledge of school district operations and communications is a plus
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
- Valid State Driver's License
BEGINNING SALARY
Based on classification and pay plan for Non-bargaining employees:
Grade 20 $56,167.95 - $69,710.25 base salary plus performance-based supplement.
