- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

Did you know that Brevard Public Schools offers our instructional staff a pay supplement based on years of experience? Our voters passed a millage in 2022 and all instructional staff, from zero to 19 years of experience, will receive a supplement. The pay ranges based on years of experience, but for a teacher with 19 years experience, that's approximately an additional $8,110 (pay and supplement are prorated based on start date) in your pocket! This raises the overall compensation higher than our neighboring school districts.
- Qualified 2nd Grade Teachers must create a BPS BEACON instructional application and apply for this position on our website: www.brevardschools.org under the Careers tab. Additionally, please send your resume to the school secretary at McGovern.Sheila@brevardschools.org.
We are the largest employer in Brevard County and we are proud to be able to provide excellent medical/dental/vision/life insurance for all full-time employees, plus we have a paid week off at Thanksgiving and two weeks off during Winter Break when our schools and District Offices are closed for the holidays.
