Role Description
Brevard Physician Associates is seeking a dedicated and qualified Anesthesiologist Assistant for a full-time, on-site position located in Melbourne, FL. The individual will assist in the administration of anesthesia and provide care to patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures. Daily responsibilities include working collaboratively with anesthesiologists, monitoring patient status before, during, and after anesthesia administration, and ensuring optimal patient safety and comfort throughout. The role demands attention to detail, excellence in patient care, and teamwork to maintain high-quality outcomes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Anesthesiology and General Anesthesia techniques
- Knowledge and clinical experience in Medicine and Critical Care Medicine
- Expertise in providing anesthesia care for Surgery and other medical procedures
- Exceptional critical decision-making and patient monitoring skills
- Master’s degree in Anesthesia or a related field from an accredited program
- Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) credential or eligibility
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to collaborate within a multidisciplinary medical team
- Current state licensure as required to practice in Florida
