Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role located in Rockledge, FL, for a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist. The technologist will be responsible for conducting sleep studies, monitoring patients during overnight assessments, and analyzing resulting data. Responsibilities include preparing and calibrating diagnostic equipment, applying sleep sensors, responding to medical concerns during the study, and compiling detailed reports about patient conditions and findings.
Qualifications
- Expertise in polysomnography and knowledge of sleep disorders.
- Proficiency in Sleep Medicine and a strong understanding of respiratory therapy techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to work with advanced diagnostic equipment and monitor patient data effectively.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to interpret findings and generate accurate reports.
- Certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) is required.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide a patient-centered approach to care.
- Experience working in a clinical or sleep lab setting is preferred.
