Summary
The Brevard Music Center is looking for friendly, responsible people to join our food services crew. Flexible seasonal schedules are available for full- and part-time seasonal jobs. Available shifts include weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Competitive wages based on experience. Benefits include full board, on-campus housing (room shared with another seasonal staff member), complimentary concert attendance with staff ID, and either a season stipend or hourly pay, paid bi-weekly.
Positions available include:
- Front of House Supervisors
- Dishwashers
- Servers
- Concessions Service
General Responsibilities
- Operating a variety of kitchen utensils and tools to assist in the preparation of hot and cold foods
- Setting up stations with entrees, soups, salads, breads, condiments, and other food products and utensils
- Providing general stocking duties in service area
- Serving and replenishing food from counters
- Brewing coffee and tea; may be required to restock other beverage areas
- Interacting with customers in the serving and dining areas
- Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- Must be at least 14 years of age (candidates under 18 must have written permission from a parent or guardian, as well as a Youth Employment Certificate)
- Complete satisfactory background check
- Must be able to move and transport 20 pounds and remain in a stationary position for extended periods
