Job Description This class is responsible for providing operational, investigative and statistical support to the Judicial Process Units. This class works within a general outline of work to be performed and develops work methods and sequences under general supervision. Position Duties The tasks below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this class.

Management may assign additional related tasks as necessary. Prepares statistics and information for required reports. Monitor, answer and reply to telephone, radio and written requests from law enforcement agencies, court officials and the general public.

Prepare warrant packages for agents including researching, verifying and updating information based on information obtain through various investigative resources. Perform data entry recording updates of court documents to and from agency units. Maintain various logs, charts and recordings to provide records of actions for follow-up investigative or administrative actions.

Develops and follows-up on investigative leads and communicates same to unit or Civilian Process Server. Completes criminal history and background research. Creates and maintains work schedules and activity reports.

Performs routine office tasks such as typing, filing, faxing, telephoning, scanning and photocopying. Receive, enter, complete financial transactions and properly distribute civil process received from various clerk of courts, attorneys and other jurisdictions'/agencies for service. Complete daily deposits.

Distribute subpoenas within the agency. Prepares Criminal Summons report. Investigate- obtains addresses or any additional info with on hand resources for Civilian process servers.

Performs other duties unique to the department. Regular, dependable and punctual attendance is an essential function of this job. Minimum Qualifications Requires Associate's degree and a minimum of two (2) years of clerical experience in a law enforcement agency.

Additional qualifying education and/or experience which provides necessary knowledge, skills and abilities may be substituted one for the other on a year for year basis. Requires Valid Florida Class Driver's License (must be maintained for duration of employment). Additional Information Work is performed in an office environment.

Work is completed during normal business hours (Monday - Friday 8am-5pm); flexibility is required to meet operational needs. Successful completion of a criminal background investigation including polygraph, reference/employment/neighborhood checks. submit to screening for illegal drug use prior to assuming position and will be subject to return to duty, post-accident and/or random and reasonable suspicion drug tests while employed with BCSO.
