Employment Type: Part-time (up to 6 hours/week)
Position Overview
Brevard Academy is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide school-based services for students with disabilities. The PT helps students access their education by delivering consultative and direct therapy aligned with IEP goals and completing Medicaid billing documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and implement individualized PT services based on IEPs.
- Provide therapy and recommendations for adaptive equipment and modifications.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student participation.
- Maintain thorough records and complete Medicaid billing documentation.
- Attend meetings or trainings as required.
Qualifications
- NC Physical Therapist license (required).
- Experience with school-aged children or pediatric populations preferred.
- Effective communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
Schedule
- Up to 6 hours per week.
