Lot Porter and Forklift Operator

We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on team member to help support daily dealership operations. This is not a desk job. This role is active, outdoors, and essential to keeping our dealership lot running smoothly.

This position also offers the opportunity to grow within the company for someone who is dependable, hardworking, and eager to learn.

As an RV Lot Porter | Forklift Operator, you’ll help move and position RV units, fill propane tanks, operate a forklift, keep the lot clean and organized, and support both the sales and service teams as needed. We are willing to train the right person and will provide forklift certification.

Job Responsibilities:

• Safely fill customer propane tanks
• Verify that propane tanks are certified and not expired
• Inform customers when a propane tank is expired and needs to be re-certified
• Maintain, clean, and organize the dealership lot
• Move RV inventory of varying sizes safely around the dealership lot
• Assist with positioning RV units for sales, service, and customer needs
• Operate a forklift safely and responsibly
• Use mobile handheld devices to locate inventory on the lot
• Provide support for service and sales functions as needed
• Learn through audio, visual, and hands-on training
• Complete other duties as assigned
  
  

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Clean and insurable driving record
• Must be able to pass a drug screen that includes a check for THC
• Must be able to safely lift at least 50 lbs
• Must be comfortable being on your feet for long periods of time
• Must be willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Experience operating tractors, construction equipment, forklifts, or a pickup and trailer is helpful, but not required
• Forklift certification is not required. We will train and certify the right person
  
  

Compensation:

• $17 to $19 per hour
  
  

Schedule:

• Tuesday through Saturday
• 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
