About the Role
As a Telemetry RN, you will be responsible for monitoring cardiac rhythms, assessing changes in patient condition, responding to emergent situations, and implementing individualized care plans. Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments and provide direct nursing care to telemetry patients.
- Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms, identify abnormalities, and promptly respond to changes in patient status.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with provider orders and clinical protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans.
- Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and patient progress in the electronic medical record.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- A BSN is preferred.
- Active RN License.
- At least 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
