Join a compassionate, close-knit healthcare team at a critical access hospital nestled in the scenic beauty of northern New Hampshire. We’re seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality, rapid-response care in the Emergency Department.
About the Role
As an essential member of the ED team, you’ll bring strong clinical judgment, quick decision-making, and a calm, patient-centered approach to a fast-paced environment. You’ll care for patients across the lifespan, from minor injuries to critical, life-threatening conditions, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide immediate, comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process in a fast-paced ED setting.
- Rapidly assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity.
- Initiate and manage emergency interventions, administer medications, and monitor patient responses.
- Assist with procedures, including wound care, cardiac monitoring, IV access, and stabilization of critical patients.
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient progress.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, EMS personnel, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Emergency or critical care experience preferred
