Pool Enrichment Coordinator
Bretton Woods Recreation Center is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and responsible individual to join our team as the Pool Enrichment Coordinator for the upcoming summer season.

Reports to: Team Building and Outdoor Adventure Director
Supervises: None
Length of Employment: Late May/early June through August. While this position is primarily seasonal, there will be additional opportunities for work in the Spring and Fall.
Essential Functions
- Design and lead high-energy pool activities
- Proactively "hype up" kids and adults to drive participation and create a welcoming, fun atmosphere.
- Oversee all weekend poolside programming from initial setup and equipment prep to breakdown and storage.
- Monitor activity areas to ensure all members follow facility rules and maintain a safe environment.
- Act as the primary point of contact for poolside fun, building rapport with families and addressing feedback.
- Manage participant behavior and resolve minor disputes using positive, age-appropriate techniques.
- Assist the broader Adventure Department with special events and weekday programming as needed.
- Maintain a working knowledge of emergency procedures
- Complete additional tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Strong communication skills and command of the English language
- Ability to communicate efficiently with others whose first language may not be English
- Ability to work collaboratively with campers, counselors, and camp directors
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, where change and improvement are always present
- Reliable transportation to and from BWRC. Public transportation is not available
- Must pass background checks provided by BWRC
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Must have a positive attitude and report to work on time
- Communicate with campers and parents in a courteous manner
- Lifeguarding and/or pool management experience a plus, but not required
