Overview
Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Hygienist and become a vital part of delivering exceptional oral healthcare! We are a fun loving private practice looking to add a team member that has a passion for providing exceptional patient care. As a full time employee in our office we provide new scrubs every year, new instruments whenever needed, CE paid for by the office and 401k/ paid vacation days after a year. We also have a full time hygiene assistant to help turn over rooms, run sterilization and input perio chart numbers. Our office is all about amazing patient care while also providing our employees with an exceptional work environment!
Hours- Monday through Thursday ONLY
Monday- 8am to 5pm
Tuesday- 9am to 5pm
Wednesday- 7am to 5pm
Thursday- 7am to 2pm (no lunch hour)
Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical history, and dental examinations
- Take and interpret medical images such as X-rays, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions
- Maintain infection control standards through aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures in accordance with OSHA guidelines
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification in CPR and infection control practices
- Proficiency with Dentrix for charting, scheduling, and documentation
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and dental coding processes
- Excellent communication skills to educate patients clearly while demonstrating professionalism and empathy
