Senior Tax Accountant

Brescia McCluskey, LLC is hiring a Senior Tax Accountant to prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns for our clients. You'll handle tax research, client communication, bookkeeping and payroll tax support, and financial statement prep — with real client exposure from day one.
What You'll Do
• Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary (trust) tax returns
• Prepare and file federal and state tax returns accurately and timely
• Review client tax documents and supporting records for completeness and accuracy
• Perform tax research and apply findings to client situations
• Communicate with clients regarding tax matters and information requests
• Assist with tax planning and compliance projects
• Prepare payroll tax returns and related filings
• Perform bookkeeping and accounting functions as needed
• Prepare financial statements and supporting workpapers
• Maintain organized client files and engagement documentation
• Assist partners and managers with special tax and accounting projects
What We're Looking For
• 1 years of public accounting or tax preparation experience preferred
• Experience preparing individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns
• Experience with bookkeeping, payroll tax filings, and financial statement preparation
• Experience with UltraTax CS, Workpapers CS, and QuickBooks preferred
• Strong tax research and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
