SALARY: Annual salary ranging from $1,373-$1,662 (Column G), depending on experience

Sponsor Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the yearbook creation process, including theme development, layout design, photo selection, and content creation.
- Recruit and mentor a team of student photographers, writers, and designers to contribute to the yearbook.
- Conduct regular meetings with yearbook staff to assign tasks, provide guidance, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Collaborate with school administrators, faculty, and staff to gather content and ensure accurate representation of school events and activities.
- Manage the yearbook budget, including expenses for photography equipment, printing costs, and software licenses.
- Facilitate the sale and distribution of yearbooks to students, parents, and staff.
- Maintain records of yearbook sales, expenses, and inventory.
- Demonstrate a sense of professional responsibility, including consistent attendance.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding staff/student information.
- Supervise students during yearbook-related activities, ensuring adherence to school policies and safety protocols.
- Report incidents or concerns to appropriate school personnel in a timely manner.
- Respond to inquiries from students, parents, and staff regarding the yearbook production process.
- Serve as a reference for students interested in pursuing photography, design, or journalism.
- Complete all necessary paperwork in a timely manner as requested by the building administrator or the districts Board of Education.
- Complete other duties as assigned by building or district administration.

Communication Skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, staff, and administrators both orally and in writing.
- Ability to collaborate with students and staff to gather content and feedback for the yearbook.
- Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts for budgeting purposes
- Ability to forecast details such as revenue and budget into the future to make effective decisions in the present
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe InDesign or similar programs.
- Basic knowledge of photography techniques and equipment.
- Familiarity with digital platforms for communication and file sharing.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in content creation and proofreading.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to address unexpected challenges or changes in project scope.
- The employee must be able to stand, walk, talk, see, hear, and occasionally sit for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry photography equipment and yearbook inventory as needed.
- The noise level will vary depending on the meeting dynamics
- Must be able to travel off campus for events/activities
