Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site Graphic Designer role located in Brentwood, CA. The Graphic Designer will work on creating visually engaging designs for newspapers, magazines, and digital content. Responsibilities include designing layouts, developing branding materials, creating logos, and working with typography to ensure aesthetic consistency. Collaboration with editorial and advertising teams to meet project deadlines will also be key aspects of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Graphic / Layout Design, including digital and print design workflows.
- Experience with Logo Design and Branding to create cohesive visual identities.
- Strong Typography skills to ensure effective layout and design consistency.
- Proficiency with industry-standard design software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent collaborative and communication skills to work effectively within a team structure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in designing for publications or print media is a plus.
