Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and possess a strong understanding of dental procedures and terminology. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various dental conditions, performing routine check-ups, restorative treatment and ensuring the overall oral health of our patients .
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including root canal therapy, fillings, extractions, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate medical records for each patient, documenting treatments and progress.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Implement aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment for all dental treatments.
- Utilize medical imaging technologies to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care measures.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to provide high-quality patient care.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental technology and practices.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with medical records management is advantageous.
