Brentwood Behavioral offers both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services. Located in Flowood, MS, in Rankin County with close proximity to Hinds and Madison Counties, our outpatient services are within driving distance to many surrounding areas. Job Summary: The Clinical Educator is a registered nurse responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering orientation, education, and ongoing training for Behavioral Health staff to ensure clinical competency, quality care, and regulatory compliance. This role assesses learning needs, develops and facilitates educational programs, and ensures completion of annual mandatory training and competency validation. The Clinical Educator also leads infection prevention education and supports the facility’s infection prevention program by promoting compliance with CDC guidelines, The Joint Commission standards, and applicable federal and state regulations. Responsibilities include educating staff on infection prevention practices, monitoring and reporting healthcare‑associated infections, conducting infection prevention rounds, reviewing and updating related policies, analyzing data, and collaborating with leadership to support patient and staff safety.
