Summary of Job Function: As a Universal Banker at Brentwood Bank, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service to ensure an extraordinary banking experience for our customers. You will be responsible for providing seamless transitions between accurate and courteous teller-based transactions, answering complex questions, and resolving technical problems on customer accounts. You will develop personalized recommendations based on customer needs and sell consumer and small business products/services to existing and new customers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create a superior customer-focused experience for each customer or potential customer.
- Develop expertise in small business and consumer bank products.
- Floating between all 6 Brentwood Bank branches with a focus on Wexford and Beaver locations.
- Welcome and engage customers/prospects in the lobby, on the teller line, or on the phone.
- Take ownership of customer issues and inquiries, enhancing customer retention and exploring sales opportunities.
- Research and answer customer requests regarding accounts, products, rates, and services.
- Participate in attaining branch goals by promoting bank and related products and services.
- Recommend and sell appropriate products and services (consumer and small business).
- Promote self-service and remote channels, such as ATM and online banking/mobile banking.
- Maintain a working knowledge of products and services offered, keeping up-to-date with industry developments.
- Refer larger business and commercial opportunities to the Branch Manager, Business Bankers, or Commercial Lenders.
- Identify and refer investment sales opportunities to Brentwood Advisors.
- Discuss consumer lending needs with customers and refer mortgage loan needs to relevant departments.
- Comply with Federal/State banking regulations and local consumer protection laws.
- Initiate and close qualifying loan applications in the branch (Home Equity).
- Deliver outstanding customer experiences by executing Teller transactions.
- Maintain accurate cash counts and assist in branch operating functions.
- Maintain detailed logs of customer interactions, referrals, communications, preferences, problems, and information.
- Promote a positive image of Brentwood Bank through community involvement and other bank functions.
- Actively participate in implementing Branch Sales Plans.
- Perform Business Development activities such as calling on current and potential customers.
- Cross-train and mentor other Universal Bankers to improve their performance.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Three or more years of banking experience within a branch/branch network.
- Three or more years of proven previous sales experience.
- Three or more years of cash handling experience.
- Knowledge of banking compliance rules and regulations.
- Successful completion of the Universal Associate Program training.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, use tact, and diplomacy.
- Ability to take initiative in resolving problems and developing recommendations.

- Demonstrated superior customer service and sales skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management/prioritization skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task effectively.

- Availability to work a flexible schedule of up to 40 hours per week.
- Physical Requirements: prolonged standing, frequent use of hands, ability to communicate face-to-face and on the phone, occasional bending and lifting from floor height.
- Job may require working evenings and Saturdays, local travel between branches or offsite travel for training.
