Responsibilities
- Safely operate taxi cabs and other commercial vehicles along designated local routes, ensuring adherence to traffic regulations at all times
- Use GPS navigation systems to efficiently plan and follow optimal routes for timely pickups and drop-offs
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine vehicle maintenance checks to ensure safety and comfort for passengers
- Process cash transactions accurately and handle customer payments with professionalism
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, luggage handling, and addressing inquiries politely
- Conduct night driving shifts confidently, ensuring safety during low visibility hours
- Follow all safety protocols related to vehicle operation, traffic laws, and passenger safety standards
Skills
- Proven experience in taxi driving or commercial driving roles such as bus driving or paratransit services
