Brenntag TA Team
- Inform customers of unit prices, shipping details, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by the customer after the placement of the original order.
- Check delivery tickets for changes or mistakes.
- Submit completed BOLs to the appropriate CSR; create millrun BOLs
- Perform order double checks.
- Performs all duties in strict accordance of company safety and environmental policies.
- Serve as backup in unloading inbound freight when a Driver is unavailable.
- Check inventory control and notify Facility Manager of orders that would deplete stock.
- Confer with sales, shipping, warehouse, or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments.
- Coordinate deliveries to maximize truck capacity and efficiency.
- Dispatch drivers providing complete instructions.
- Evaluate Drivers’ performance.
- Monitors Drivers’ DOT hours.
- Perform truck inspections with drivers on a weekly basis.
- Maintains ELD system, corrects errors and retrieves daily reports.
- Assist Facility Manager in the day to day matters of the facility.
- Manage the facility Intelex reporting system.
- Demonstrate and facilitate open and honest communication with the department and with employees at all levels of the company.
- Communicate regularly within the department on appropriate matters. Communicate with peer managers across the company.
- Related duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with others.
- Better than average written and spoken communication skills.
- Ability to making critically analyze, problem solve and offer solutions.
- Available to be on-call after hours, weekends and holidays.
- GED/HS Diploma
- 2 years of related experience
