We are seeking a motivated Residential HVAC Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential settings. Your expertise will ensure our customers enjoy reliable, energy-efficient comfort in their homes. Responsibilities
- Install new HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related equipment according to schematics and HVAC design plans
- Conduct system troubleshooting and perform repairs on existing HVAC units and related mechanical components
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to ensure precise installations
- Perform maintenance tasks such as refrigerant recharges, filter replacements, and system calibrations
- Assist with plumbing connections and integrate refrigeration systems when necessary
- Use diagnostic tools like ohmmeters to test electrical components and ensure proper operation
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and communicate effectively with team members and customers
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction, HVAC installation, or service technician roles with a strong mechanical background
- Knowledge of HVAC/R systems including refrigeration, ammonia refrigeration, boilers, and appliance repair
- Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing, welding, and property maintenance practices
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair and maintenance procedures
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and field service equipment confidently
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience as a
driver preferred - Strong field service skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems efficiently
- Prior experience working with air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, or boiler mechanics is highly desirable
