We are seeking a motivated and energetic Tree Crew Driver/Groundman to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, support tree care operations, and develop valuable skills in arboriculture and landscape maintenance. You will assist with tree removal, pruning, rigging, and other essential tasks while operating equipment such as bucket trucks and chainsaws.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate bucket trucks and assist with tree removal, pruning, and trimming using arborist rigging techniques
- Support the ground crew by handling rigging, climbing assistance, and debris cleanup
- Drive company vehicles to job sites while adhering to safety protocols
- Assist with planting, lawn care, landscape maintenance, and general outdoor tasks
- Follow safety procedures diligently during all operations to ensure a secure work environment
- Maintain equipment, tools, and safety gear in excellent condition for daily use
Skills
- Experience operating bucket trucks and chainsaws safely and effectively
- Knowledge of arborist rigging techniques and tree removal processes
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments
- Ability to perform plant pruning care, tree trimming, and general horticulture tasks
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
