Brenham Next’s longest running program, JAM (Jesus and Me), is a 6-week urban enrichment day camp where kids experience the Gospel, education, and FUN in a Christ-centered environment.
We partner with parents, Brenham ISD, and the Brenham community to build a legacy of biblical leaders while keeping the program affordable and accessible.
We are seeking college-aged leaders to serve as Missionary Counselors (MCs) for Summer 2026.
A Missionary Counselor is a full-time, college-aged leader who serves Christ and this community of kids for 7.5 weeks straight (including training), living and working in Brenham, TX.
This is a paid internship that includes housing and provides hands-on classroom and leadership experience.
Your faith will be strengthened through perseverance, fellowship with fellow college leaders, and daily opportunities to serve and love God through ministry.
- Big Group Time: Music, Games, Bible Stories
- Small Group Reinforcement
- Summer Learning: Math, Reading, Writing
- Field Trips
- Step Competitions
- Organize and lead games, crafts, and curriculum
- Provide academic support in math, reading, and writing
- Ensure student safety and well-being
- Lead Bible stories and spiritual discussions
- Mentor students in leadership and character development
- Collaborate with fellow MCs and ProJ volunteers
- Create a high-energy, structured, and encouraging environment
- College-aged (All majors welcome)
- Committed Christian faith
- Ability to commit May 21 – July 11
