What You'll Do
Clean resident rooms and bathrooms daily per facility procedures, respecting each resident's belongings and preferences
Clean and maintain other facility areas as assigned (tub/shower rooms, offices, kitchen, day rooms, activity rooms, halls, lobby, utility rooms, nurses' stations, linen areas)
Treat residents with dignity and respect in all interactions
Follow infection control policies and procedures
Properly secure cleaning chemicals per safety protocol
Promptly report needed repairs to your supervisor
Assist with weekly/monthly deep-cleaning projects as needed
Respond appropriately in emergencies or disaster situations
Attend required in-service training and staff meetings

What You'll Need
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
No prior experience required; housekeeping experience in a long-term care or institutional setting a plus

Ability to follow directions and complete assigned tasks independently
