What are the responsibilities and job description for the Internal Auditor position at Brembo North America?
DUTIES
- Performs assurance activities (management audits, compliance audits, organizational audits, ethics audits) and consultancy activities.
- Plans and carries out audit activities, guaranteeing the respect of the activities and the established timing
- Compiles and writes the audit reports
- Collaborates in writing the remediation plans against the recommendations in the audit reports.
- Carries out a constant reporting about the updating of the activities for the Internal Auditing Department.
- Carries out a constant monitoring activity of the revealed management indicators and of the defined action plans
- Actively participate in the development of special projects and consultancy activities in the field of Internal Control System, corporate governance and risk assessment, in order to guarantee the attainment of the company goals.
- Contributes to the development of the corporate governance processes.
- 30-40% Travel
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law, Finance, or Quality, or 3-5 years of equivalent experience
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND PRIOR EXPERIENCE
- 3-5 years of experience in Internal Audit, or comparable role
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- Experience working in medium/ large manufacturing companies in the automotive industry is preferred.
- Must be PC proficient and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required
- Spanish language skills required
