Duties
- Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently during transactions, including processing payments and issuing receipts.
- Assist customers in selecting products and answer any questions related to our inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to ensure a welcoming environment for customers.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and resolve customer concerns professionally.
- Restock shelves and ensure product displays are tidy and appealing.
- Follow all store policies and procedures to ensure safety and compliance.
- Support inventory management tasks as needed, including stock counts and product labeling.
- Provide knowledgeable assistance about liquor products, including age verification requirements when necessary.
Requirements
- Prior experience operating cash registers or POS systems is required.
- Experience working in a liquor store or retail environment is highly preferred.
