Data Architect

Breeze Airways is looking for a Data Architect to help build our data analytics architecture from the ground up. Your job will include designing and building a new data lake to ingest airline passenger and operational data from other Breeze systems to be used with Business Intelligence and Machine Learning.

Here’s what you’ll do

• Develop database solutions to store and retrieve company information
• Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts
• Optimize new and current database systems
• Coordinate with the Data Science department to identify future needs and requirements
• Achieve performance measures and adhere to established standards in conjunction with Breeze Aviation Group Values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence

Here’s what you need to be successful

Minimum Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Computer Science or relevant field
• 5 years relevant job experience
• Must have authorization to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High performance orientation, ability to work well under pressure, prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and maintain flexibility
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
• Self-starter must have a positive attitude and strong desire for success
• Complete projects on time with minimal supervision, ability to work varied hours when necessary to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-graduate degree in Computer Science or related field, or professional certifications

Skills/Talents

• Proven work experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Analyst or similar role
• In-depth understanding of database structure principles
• Expertise in SQL
• Problem-solving attitude
