Position Summary:
We’re looking for a Project Sales Engineer to help grow our installation division — specializing in either HVAC or Plumbing & Piping solutions. This is a client-facing role for a technically savvy and relationship-driven professional who thrives on turning opportunities into successful projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with residential and commercial clients.
- Conduct site visits to assess project needs and recommend the right system or solution.
- Prepare proposals, technical presentations, and accurate cost estimates.
- Collaborate with internal teams — engineering, project management, and service — to ensure smooth handoffs and outstanding project outcomes.
- Meet or exceed sales targets while contributing to company growth.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, energy-efficient technologies, and new product innovations.
- Participate in kickoff meetings and planning sessions for key projects.
Focus Areas:
HVAC Sales:
- Promote solutions involving chillers, VRF, RTUs, air handlers, and controls.
- Provide technical insight for energy-efficient retrofits and replacements.
- Interpret drawings and specifications to prepare accurate proposals.
Plumbing & Piping Sales:
- Develop system solutions for domestic water, boilers, sanitary, storm, process, and gas piping.
- Support both new construction and retrofit projects with technical expertise.
- Translate plans and specs into accurate scopes of work and estimates.

- Proven experience in mechanical, HVAC, or plumbing/piping sales.
- Strong technical understanding and confidence in customer-facing discussions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven.
- Valid driver’s license with regular job site travel.
- Experience with CRM/ERP systems and Microsoft Office preferred.
