We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Construction and Engineering Inspector to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality control measures. Your expertise will help drive project efficiency, maintain rigorous inspection standards, and support the successful delivery of complex construction projects involving pipelines, schematics, and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough construction inspections to verify adherence to plans, specifications, and safety regulations
- Perform quality control checks throughout the construction process to ensure high standards are maintained
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to pipeline and infrastructure projects
- Collect and analyze data during inspections to identify potential issues or deviations from contract requirements
- Monitor construction site activities, including managing construction site experience and ensuring proper execution of work
- Review contracts and technical documents to confirm compliance with project scope and specifications
- Document inspection findings meticulously through detailed reports and records for project tracking
Requirements
- The qualified candidate must be able to pass a Department of Homeland Security background check
- Minimum of 7 years experience in construction inspection or related roles within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction management practices, quality inspection procedures, and safety standards
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with pipeline projects and related construction techniques
- Effective data collection skills for maintaining precise records of inspections and site activities
- Construction site experience demonstrating hands-on understanding of field operations
- Good communication skills for coordinating with contractors, engineers, and project managers

Pay: $44.00 - $54.00 per hour
