Looking for a dentist who can communicate well with patients, loves the outdoors, eager to learn, Dawson, Pankey, Spear or Kois trained, who is looking for an associate to partnership agreement, does the right thing for patients, and does high quality work. Wow that is a lot to ask for!

Let me tell you about our practice to see if you think this would be a great fit. We work Monday – Thursday 8-5PM. Our office is conveniently located 3 blocks from the Gondola at one of the best ski resorts in the world in Breckenridge, Colorado #Colorado #hiring! Our patients are active, care about our small community and expect high quality work from a caring dentist and staff. I (Dr. Tom) am 10 years out of school and have taken a significant amount of continuing education to raise the level of care I provide to my patients. I am an active member of the Spear study club and AACD. I have completed the Dawson Course series which opened my eyes to complete patient care vs being a tooth doctor. We have an in-house lab technician who designs and fabricates with a lab mill or our printers: crowns, models, custom abutments and crowns, veneers, splints, models, mounting models, wax ups, smile designs, etc. We still send out the occasional denture.

Our office is state of the art. We moved into our current space in 2021. We have 6 ops. 3 hygiene and 3 doctor. We have digital scanner, 2 3D printers, Amann Girrbach 4 axis wet/dry milling unit, electric handpieces, CBCT/Pano, 3 digital sensors, Camera (polarized filter, backdrop screen). Our best referral resource besides our patients is our specialist we work with. From local ones in the county to those in Denver. Yes, we get referrals from our specialist in Denver to come see our office for dental work!

Ideal candidate would be 5 years out of school (& loves snow). Sorry new grads there is the art of treatment presentation, which you learn and can't be taught well in dental school. I would expect you to have excellent treatment presentation skills, solid foundation in general dentistry (fillings crowns bridge implants etc.), have significant hours in continuing education in comprehensive dentistry. Ideal candidate would treat the staff very well as we are a small town and I have had 3 staff members stay since I bought the practice 7 years ago! I place every filling and would expect the same of new doctor.

We have a very healthy practice. Currently only in network with Delta Premier….For now (likely dropping 1/1/24). We have a total of 10 hygiene days per week (one Monday, and 3 hygienist Tuesday-Thursday). Last year we collected $2.25 million with an associate working only the last 6 months of the year 4 days a week and myself 3 days a week. I would expect an associate to collect 80K/month on average at a minimum!!!! Right now I am working 4 days a week and am booking out 6 weeks. Hygiene is a month booked out. We have a healthy number of new patients which is around 50/month with no advertising. I would transition from 4 to 3 days a week leaving 1 day a week for admin.

Compensation would be based on collections. I would give a significant amount of CE budget and expect associate to be apart of Spear Study Club. I would like there to be a period of 12 months associate before buy-in to make sure we both practice in the same style and would make a great partnership.
