Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Desk & Pet Care Associate to be the welcoming face of our dog boarding and daycare facility. This role combines front-desk operations, client communication, and administrative support, while also assisting with dog care and daily facility needs.
The ideal candidate is personable with both people and dogs, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs with accuracy and professionalism
- Greet clients, answer questions, and provide exceptional customer service
- Process payments and handle reservations
- Verify vaccination records and complete intake paperwork
- Prepare kennels and label belongings for incoming dogs
- Assist with potty rotations and basic dog handling as needed
- Support daily cleaning tasks including dishes, laundry, and kennel resets
- Maintain accurate client records, reservation systems, and communication logs
- Communicate behavior updates and special care notes to owners clearly and respectfully
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable working directly with dogs and assisting in their care
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
- Basic computer skills and attention to detail with record-keeping
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and assist with physical tasks
- Reliable availability Monday–Thursday
