Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Benefits Administrator, based in Baton Rouge, LA. The Benefits Administrator will oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies. Responsibilities include managing compliance with FMLA and COBRA regulations, assisting employees with their benefits questions, processing benefit enrollments and changes, and coordinating with insurance providers. This role will also involve providing support in improving processes and ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in Benefits Administration and Employee Benefits management
- Strong knowledge of compliance regulations, including the U.S. Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and COBRA
- Familiarity with insurance programs and policies, including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in HR software and benefits systems, as well as Microsoft Office applications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively explain benefits plans and processes
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Certification in CEBS (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist) or related field is a plus
